Co housing can offer an alternative to the residential alienation of modernity. It sets the stage to create a more collective ethos and  a community more reliant on its other members. When families need a baby sitter they have a friendly neighbor. The elderly suddenly has an active community within their immediate vicinity.  Each member has their own more compact private facilities but share larger communal social spaces such as communal kitchen and dining activities.

Aim of this project is to create a progressive housing project which integrates the community through public space, activities and the notion of play. By combining two different current social issues , such as loneliness of the elderly and a disenfranchised youth , an outcome can be met to resolve individual issues whilst establishing a more cohesive and understanding society as a whole.
