STUDY TRIP

On my visit to Rotterdam I was amazed by dutch ingenuity. Round every corner some unique element had been embedded into the urban fabric. Whether by architects carving a bench into the wall of a bridge or by the locals putting up a basketball hoop on a street corner. These interactions demonstrate how safe and personable the city is as a whole.

I chose a moment that , for me, summed up Rotterdam as this interactive city. Outside a bistro ,in the middle of the street a giant game of chess was being played. This shows how it is through activities not aesthetics that relationships are formed.
