A key element of my building is a shared balcony that links the children floors of both family units. This creates a private external space where children can play freely with the hope that this shared area integrates tenants in day to day activities. It also establishes traditional , if not romanticised view, of neighbours where a cohesive community can exist within close quarters.

Red brick interiors brings a continuity with the exterior. While the combination of light tones from the polished screed flooring and light wooden furnishes makes the space seem more expansive and maintains a certain aesthetic appeal.
